FEITIAN Technologies US is proud to announce the launch of the new identity, ‘xPass’ as part of the ongoing evolution of our company’s brand.

Our business has grown and evolved over two decades, and we felt it was time for a change. As privacy, portability, and persistence are necessary for digital identity, we recognize the importance to map out the whole ecosystem, understanding how people move across services, and design the connective tissue from product to the turnkey solution.

Precisely based on such consideration, we chose a new logo that captures our mission to deliver excellent quality, performance and service support across the products we provide.

Where ‘X’ signifies an almost immeasurable diversity of ways to deploy strong authentication at scale, the modern logo design highlights “Your One Identity” concept with blue-yellow colors and more minimalist look. The use of color ‘yellow’ at the start to the ‘blue’ at the end indicates the transformation that we are focusing on. This transformation implies everywhere from our internal strategy to the use of our product by end users where they see their way to prove who they are, both in the physical world and online are simpler, friendly, trusted and verifiable. 

With a very strategic approach, we are also glad to introduce our business line “MYOD - Make Your Own Device” to create a clear picture of our vision and mission and identifies the core focus of our business in the hyper connected world and highlights Innovation focused mindset of FEITIAN US. MYOD is a revolutionary concept that allows customers total transparency into the deep down skeleton/plumbing of our the technology so that they can assert their own assurance to comply with their IT GRC and any special requirements not covered by the standard. We enable MYOD by decoupling and opening up our product into two major components: the firmware and the underlying blank hardware. The biggest risk in any solution comes from the embedded software or firmware. Therefore to increase the security posture of the solution we are allowing YOU our customers and partners to use the firmware for deeper testing including code review, penetration testing and any other assurances required to comply with various policies. The customer and partners then have the option to be able to digitally sign their own copy of the firmware and then load the firmware on the blank hardware keys in the USA either at their own facility or with the help of a certified trusted partner. xPass and MYOD will also provide all the guidelines, equipment and policies to help certify the customer or partners on the right programming procedures.
